I read that this program is open to current and recent graduates, and I want to apply sometime in August. I like that since I think it bodes well for future job hunting prospects for me. I graduate in the Spring May of The issue is I have zero experience. My last class before I graduate would be a 3-credit, strongly encouraged, internship at any library of my choice as long as it holiday inn downtown vancouver bc canada advisor-approved.
Can I apply for Pathways in August with no library experience at the moment? I mean an Internship is to learn on-the-job training so would having zero жмите сюда me with applying? Also in case, it matters I was in the Navy about 4 years ago. I was separated 3 months into boot camp though because I couldn’t pass the swim qualification the floating part.
My separation code is R8. You would have to look at the internship posting to see what it says about experience – you didn’t link to one and I don’t have time to look for it and see what it says. It should say in there what level of experience they’re asking for.
Not to be discouraging, but I know that applying for regular library jobs there is excruciatingly competitive. I’ve applied to them many times during previous job searches and never gotten so much as gotten an interview, and I have three degrees two graduate degrees, one JD and my MLS and several /29585.txt work experience in different types of libraries.
Most I’ve gotten is moved to the next stage for a law library of Congress job. I don’t know about internships fescription for regular job applications, they give these assessment-type questions where they ask what is your level of experience from doing task such-and-such and depending on what you answered, the next question is to demonstrate in detail how you have such experience.

Just don’t put all your eggs in one basket and apply to several opportunities. Yes they are competitive. We bring in several interns each summer through that program.

After all, that’s what an internship is for. That said, the more you’ve done in college to set yourself apart from the other usajosb helps.
Your biggest issue may be pathways program usajobs job description – pathways program usajobs job description number of opportunities in the field you’re interested in. If experience isn’t required I don’t know if “competitive” is the best description. Patnways of experience isn’t what makes these competitive, жмите сюда the large amount of applications they get that make them competitive.
Government iob and internships get up to hundreds of applications per position sometimes. Originally Posted by treemoni. Originally Posted by fantasy Originally Posted by bobsell.
